Much has been said and written about the power of the MEDIA to influence public opinions on various hotly debated topics ranging from politics to the performing arts. After analyzing various means of communication in class, students of Year 1 of Senior High School run some research into the history of the printing press from its birth to its current state. They then drew some parallels between its current state and form, with special reference to the advent of the internet, and whether the Internet will eventually render the printing press obsolete. Our main focus, with these projects, was a brief reference into the history of the printing press.
