The little clouds have also been learning about the butterfly life cycle. We read the story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ by Eric Carle and we played fun movement games.

Δημιουργούμε το δικό μας ποίημα, το «ζωντανεύουμε», του βάζουμε χρώματα, μουσική και … φαντασία.

Πεταλούδες, μέλισσες πουλιά

Φτιάχνουν της Άνοιξης τη ζωγραφιά.

Τα λουλούδια γέμισαν χρώματα πολλά.

Άνοιξη μύρισε ξανά.

Όλοι μαζί μια αγκαλιά

Καλωσορίζουμε τα χελιδόνια

στην παλιά φωλιά.

After that, we transformed ourselves into tiny eggs and created a huge caterpillar. Look how many legs our caterpillar has! We wrapped one caterpillar in material to make a cocoon and danced around the room like butterflies.

Finally, we made our own beautiful butterflies using tissue paper. After some more fluttering around the classroom, the tired butterflies finally landed on our noses!
