“The Borrowers” by Mary Norton is the book Primary 5 Students explored in their CLIL Literature class this year. The tiny Clock Family- Arrietty, Pod and Homily captured their imagination. They attended an inspirational puppet-making workshop ran by two professional puppeteers, Anneta Stefanopoulou and Lita Aslanoglou. Under their guidance, using simple materials, having the freedom to express their creativity and develop new skills, they produced and gave life to their own Borrowers! Some of our students even created a home for their own “Borrowers”! Finally, with the help of our Robotics Club, some students created a small city for the “Borrowers”!
