Through the story “Sam’s Dream” and different class activities, Primary 1 appreciated that families are not all the same. Different nationalities live in different types of homes. This first step into accepting differences was accompanied with the letter “A” which they had just learnt in their English Core class as well as the new vocabulary about homes.

To develop their teamwork skills, each class produced a group poster with the letter A for Antarctica and drew pictures of Igloos and Eskimos. They all had a role to play in producing the poster and worked wonderfully together as a team.
