The Industrial Revolution: a shift from agrarian, rural societies which started in the UK to the industrial and urban setting to reach the four corners of the world.
Prior to the Industrial Revolution manufacturing was often done in people’s home. Industrialization marked a shift to powered, special-purpose machinery, factories and mass production. Inspired by the wonders of human invention during that period of time Junior High 3 students were encouraged to work on a PowerPoint presentation with which they had to highlight some of the turning points of that era that have helped the world reach its current state of a heavily industrialized society.
