Since ancient times, advertising has served a critical purpose in the business world by enabling sellers to effectively compete with one another for the attention of buyers. When it comes to marketing strategies, a business has this very powerful tool at its disposal that may help maximize its sales and profits. Advertising plays an important role in increasing the demand of a good thus increasing its price and quantity demanded and supplied. In the class of Home Economics, students were asked to assess the characteristics of a successful advertisement and come up with their own advertisement promoting a product of their choice.
