Magna Carta: looking back on the document, the articles included and its relevance in present day society has been the main focus of the projects that follow. After studying the history of this document on which many articles of the declaration of independence of many democratic nations are based on, students of Year 1 Junior High School had to draw parallels between present-day societies while referring to the articles that were agreed upon back then. Any violation or infringement of human rights on an international level could be avoided if measures are to be taken that guarantee equality and a fair trial to all people of a country.
