THIMUN – Year 1,2,3 of Senior High School

THIMUN is one of the most prestigious MUNs in the world. Its main objective is to advance the interests of international education across national boundaries through the promotion of interaction and dialogue between young people from a variety of countries, school systems and backgrounds. Participating in this MUN will be an unparalleled memory for the delegation of Central African Republic of our Senior High School students. The delegates of CAR proved that with their talent, energy and determination, they resolved conflicts that could put world’s peace at risk. Here are some of the comments that the world’s future policy makers made after the end of the conference.

"It's very impressive that you feel all these emotions at the end of a conference. It's the sadness of something coming to an end and the happiness of all that you have achieved during your effort to challenge and become a better version of yourself. THIMUN made me realize that sometimes in our lives some things may come to an end, but when you feel the fulfillment that I felt, it's totally worth any sacrifices. I'm very thankful to all of those who gave me the opportunity to live such moments in my life."
Niki Sousouni, Year 3 Senior High School

"Apart from the fact that I had the chance to stand before 200 young diplomats and exchange arguments, the finest memory that will always be in my mind after this conference is all those friends that I made from all over the globe!"
Giannos Chatzigeorgiou, Year 2 Senior High School

"I may have missed a week of studying for my final exams, but I earned a lifetime experience that I'll keep in mind, and basically in my heart, forever!"
Amalia Ioannidi, Year 3 Senior High School

"Every story, every experience comes to an end but in life every end is just a new beginning! I had the best time meeting new people, who finally became my friends! A special period of my life ends today with the best friends by me! Love you all and I am going to miss you!"
Anastasia Binopoulou, Year 2 Senior High School

"Proud to pass as a co-submitter the resolution on Human Rights in Eritrea. Such a rewarding experience for me!"
Aris Flegas, Year 2 Senior High School

"After the ending of the 49th THIMUN, one does not exactly know if he should feel excited that all his efforts have paid off or nostalgic of the memories from all the conferences that he has taken part in. All great things tend to end fast and abruptly, only leaving behind the sweetest memories of an experience you wish you could live again. But unfortunately none of us has the skill to turn back time!"
Xenophon Binopoulos, Year 2 Senior High School

"While we confirmed once again how amazing the MUN experience can be, socializing with people from all around the globe is what we will probably miss the most. It will be a memory that will find ourselves reminiscing because we only realized its value when it was over!"
Nefeli Poulopati, Year 1 Senior High School
