Value-based Education - “Respect for Individuality” – 1st class of Junior High School

It is not so often that we see ordinary people, who have achieved previously unheard of feats, make a name for themselves for their skills, talents and tremendous mental, emotional and physical strength. Inspired by the second unit of our course book, students of the 1st class of Junior High were asked to carry out their own research into the lives of these fascinating individuals who with their incredible feats have acted as positive role models for all of us. The following projects were presented in class engaging our young students in an open class discussion with questions raised by their fellow classmates who expressed their interest in the lives and livelihoods of these extraordinary individuals.
