In order to help our students understand the concept of “Respect”, each Primary 1 class explored a particular county (China, Italy, Egypt and India). This project helped them to open their minds to the notion that differences exist and that we are not all the same. By learning a little bit about other countries (culture, language, traditions)  Primary 1 learnt that differences are fun! At the end of the project we made a “Hello World” poster where the students wrote Hello in the four languages (Chinese, Italian, Arabic and Hindu). This was the first step in teaching them unity in diversity.
