During the first month of our Social Inclusion programme, we used the main character of Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens to open a discussion on children’s rights. To reinforce this, we created a giant poster that highlighted some of the basic rights of children all over the world: the right to have a home, the right to have food, the right to have clean water, the right to be safe, the right to be happy, the right to play, the right to be dressed appropriately and the right to go to school.
