“From the UK to the world” – Year 2 Junior High School, CLIL

Understanding the four nations that united and formed what we nowadays call the United Kingdom.

The linguistic background and the richness of the English language is defined by its use which is evident in all four corners of the UK and the English speaking world. The “geographic” borders of the UK extend across the seas into the world making it all the more interesting for the students of Year 2 Junior High School who were asked to present a specific location of the UK with its places of interest. The following projects represent their work which could be a portal to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and of course England.

Ireland by Martha Metzikofaki

Scotland by Steven Michail

Wales by Kallia Kyrou
